My mom is a seamstress who taught me to sew at age four. As a kid, I loved stuffed animals, but I was often disappointed that nobody made stuffed animal versions of my favorite creatures. I eventually decided to try cloning some of my Beanie Babies by tracing their seams to make a pattern. By doing this, I learned how to create basic stuffed animal shapes. When I was 13, I started designing my own patterns and creating original stuffed animals. Ever since then, I've been honing my craft and learning new techniques. I've designed over a hundred stuffed animals, all of them sewn completely by hand. I'm now in graduate school studying paleontology, and my focus has shifted toward building cuddly yet realistic reconstructions of prehistoric animals. I am now taking online commissions, so if you're interested in custom stuffed animals, please email me at ArctopsArt@gmail.com.
